Wellbeing Retreats

A weekend which involves effective fitness classes, tasty nutritious meals, calm mindfulness sessions and educational workshops. The weekend retreats are a great opportunity to kick start a life of meaning or to further your wellbeing to the next level. All the retreats are held in areas of natural beauty, where you will have free time to explore the countryside. There will be plenty of time to invite space & reflection during the retreat weekend.
The aim of the weekend is to help you balance your mind, body & spirit. Exercise classes will be run daily specifically aimed at burning that unwanted fat, helping you to tone your body whilst being challenging. These classes will be educational as well as physical as they will teach you concepts you can use at home.

The whole retreat is based on mindfulness, being open to new opportunities, interacting with new people, learning new ways to deal with the big wide world and being present in our own body. Throughout the weekend there will be morning & evening meditations which will help you to centre and be at one with yourself.

There will be educational workshops throughout the weekend which will help you to grow. During these workshops, there will be opportunities to discuss what you have learnt and to add in new ideas you may have. Everyone is here to learn & grow.
NEW!!!!!
I am excited to be adding Laughter Yoga to the retreats in 2019. This is one of the best things I have tried. Laughter yoga (Hasyayoga) is a practice involving prolonged voluntary laughter. Laughter yoga is based on the belief that voluntary laughter provides the same physiological and psychological benefits as spontaneous laughter. Laughter yoga is done in groups, with eye contact, jokes and playfulness between participants. Forced laughter soon turns into real and contagious laughter.

Why should you go on a weekend wellbeing retreat?

1. Immerse yourself in a new way of living.
2. Opportunity to focus on yourself.
3. It is a safe environment, away from your everyday life and the obligations, commitments and stressors that fence us in.
4. You can learn new techniques to deal with everyday life.
5. It is a Great way to rebalance yourself.

Octobers Retreat

Provides accommodation which is private, spotlessly clean, well presented and in a beautiful setting in the Peak District. The free time also allows for exploring this beautiful area. Takes care with the food provided, ensuring that clients have healthy meals throughout their stay. Presentations are interesting, informative and entertaining; and presented in an informal but very supportive way, which really has the effect of making you take the advice on board as James has a way of making you feel that this advice and information applies to your own personal development. Allows plenty of time for individual comments and feedback/discussion, which helps the information to sink in and make it more relevant to the individual. James has a positive attitude throughout which makes you feel that this is more than just a cash cow for him! He genuinely seems to care about people’s well-being.
