I first set my eyes on PSYCH-K when I was reading a book called “Biology of Belief” by Dr Bruce Lipton, who is a renowned Cell Biologist. On his website he recommends different modalities which can change self-limiting & negative beliefs, the same beliefs which quite often hold us back. One such modalities was PSYCH-K.
I was a bit dubious when I first read about it, but I tried it anyway. I was blown away by the Basic workshops and have never looked back since. The transformation I had after the workshop was amazing and decided to do the Advanced workshops where we learnt more advanced PSYCH-K methods.

What are beliefs and what’s so important about the subconscious.
Beliefs are ideas or principles that are perceived to be true. Our beliefs effect everything we do in our lives. We can change our reality by changing these beliefs. Most of our beliefs are subconscious and are programmed from an early age.
Neuroscience studies show that 95% of our everyday actions and beliefs are controlled by our subconscious. It has also been shown that our subconscious mind is 1,000,000 more powerful than our conscious and is the reason it is so hard to change our lives. Now our subconscious mind is like a giant computer and contains our values, beliefs, experiences and body operations. We don’t have to think to breath our body does it automatically, but it also pumps blood and all the billions of operations happening every second.
Most of our beliefs are created before the age of 7. These include walking, talking, eating, our self-limiting & negative beliefs, but also our beliefs can be impacted by our parents, siblings, community, religion & ethnic background. We are most susceptible at this time because our brains operate in a theta brainwave state, and so everything we touch, hear, see, smell & taste create these beliefs.
Our subconscious beliefs are quite often self-limiting or outdated & in order for us to move forward they need to be changed and brought into alignment with what we want to achieve.
